NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Monroe University-New Rochelle women's basketball continues to demonstrate its commitment to developing student-athletes for success at the next level, as 10 members of the 2025-26 Mustangs squad have signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at NCAA institutions across Divisions I, II, and III.
The accomplished class helped author one of the most successful seasons in recent program history, capturing the NJCAA Region 15/20 Championship while earning a Top 20 national ranking in the NJCAA Division I poll. The Mustangs also secured a historic victory over nationally ranked South Plains, marking the program's first-ever win against a Top 10 NJCAA Division I opponent.
All 10 student-athletes will continue their collegiate careers on full athletic scholarships, a testament to both their individual achievements and the continued success of Monroe's women's basketball program in preparing student-athletes for the next level.
"This class has left a lasting impact on our program," said head coach Mike Seney. "Their work ethic, resilience, and commitment to excellence helped us achieve milestones that will be remembered for years to come. We're incredibly proud to see each of them earn the opportunity to continue their academic and athletic careers at outstanding four-year institutions, and we know they'll represent Monroe with pride."
