Monroe Strength Training Center

Renovated in September 2026, the Monroe Strength Training Center serves as the performance hub for Monroe University-New Rochelle student-athletes, providing a state-of-the-art environment designed to maximize strength, speed, power, and overall athletic performance.

The renovated facility reflects Monroe University's continued commitment to athletics and its dedication to supporting student-athlete health, wellness, recovery, and competitive excellence. Featuring premium Sorinex strength equipment, advanced performance technology, dedicated recovery amenities, and Monroe-blue turf, the Strength Training Center provides student-athletes with the resources needed to prepare for competition and reach their full potential.

At the heart of the facility are 12 Sorinex Base Camp Racks equipped with Uber Packages, offering a versatile training experience with landmines, jammer arms, cable columns, and a variety of additional attachments. Complemented by an extensive selection of specialty bars, custom bumper plates, dumbbells, and accessory equipment, the center accommodates a wide range of strength and conditioning programs tailored to the needs of Monroe's student-athletes.

Beyond traditional strength training, the facility incorporates modern performance testing and recovery resources to support a comprehensive approach to athletic development. A VALD ForceDeck system, jump mats, and TeamBuildr training software help facilitate performance assessment and program management, while the dedicated recovery and lounge area features Hyperice and Theragun products. A nutrition and fueling station further supports student-athletes as they work to maintain the energy, recovery, and preparation necessary for success.

With 25 yards of Monroe-blue turf, specialized training equipment, and an emphasis on performance, recovery, and overall wellness, the Monroe Strength Training Center represents an important investment in the student-athlete experience and the future of Monroe University Athletics.
