The Athletics Communications Department at Monroe University serves the needs of the media, coaches, student-athletes, supporters and fans. The staff facilitates a diverse number of goals including aiding all media requests for Monroe University's 18 varsity and junior varsity programs, maintaining the official Department of Athletics website, MonroeUMustangs.com, creating online and print publications, in addition to maintaining biographical and historical information and stat keeping.
The Athletics Communications Department is also responsible for implementing multimedia and social media initiatives, such as creating content and managing live stats and webcasts for Monroe's home athletic events.
