RESULTS
Stockton, N.J.–The Monroe University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Osprey Open over the weekend hosted by Stockton University.
Sophomore Nkanyezi Ziqubu kicked off the day for the Mustangs by running the 1500m run. The second-year native of South Africa placed second overall at a time of 4:15.20.
Three Mustangs ran in the 400m; freshman Jaheim Lawrence, placed first overall with a season-best time of 50.21. Sophomore Micah McHardy ran a time of 56.25Â and sophomore Jazir Harris ran a time of 56.69. McHardy, after running the 400m earlier, also ran the 200m in a time of 24.49.
Two Mustangs ran in the 100m. Sophomore Douglas Lee ran a time of 11.39. Freshman Keba Cisse ran a time of 11.71. Cisse also participated in the men's long jump, he jumped a distance of 5.53m.
The Mustangs will next be in action at the Duke Invitational, slated for April 9th -11th.
