Women's Indoor Track Captures USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the 2026 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Regional Awards, with the Monroe University women's track & field program earning multiple honors in the Atlantic Region.

Leading the recognition, Monroe's coaching staff, featuring head coach Shirvon Greene and assistant coach Shanique McKenzie-Daniel, was named the USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Women's Coaching Staff of the Year, highlighting the program's success during the indoor season.

Additionally, women's indoor track student-athletes earned honors following a season filled with top performances, national-level marks, and standout finishes throughout the indoor schedule. The honorees featured Sarah-Lea Cohen and Analissa Redmond.

The regional awards recognize the best athletes and coaches across each region based on performance during the indoor season.

The honors add to an already impressive season for the Mustangs women's program as Monroe continues to build momentum on the national stage.
