NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., March 8, 2019 – Due to recent inclement weather causing unplayable field conditions, the Monroe College Mustangs JV baseball team was forced to make adjustments to this weekend's schedule.

The Mustangs' doubleheader at Westchester Community College scheduled for Saturday, March 9, has been postponed. The doubleheader has been rescheduled for Monday, March 11, at Westchester Community College beginning at 12 p.m.

Monroe's doubleheader against Rockland Community College scheduled for Sunday, March 10, at Dick Caswell Field in New Rochelle, has also been postponed. No make-up date has been announced at this time.

Based on the updated schedule, the Mustangs will play their home opener on Friday, March 15, when they host the Monroe Express at Dick Caswell Field for a single nine-inning game beginning at 3 p.m.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 28 teams competing across nine sports. There are 19 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus as of the fall of 2017, has nine varsity and junior varsity teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
