NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., March 11, 2019 – The Monroe College Mustangs varsity and junior varsity baseball teams announced changes to their early-week schedules Monday morning.

The Mustangs varsity team has rescheduled Friday's postponed contest against SUNY Sullivan to Tuesday, March 12, at 4 p.m. at Dick Caswell Field in New Rochelle. This will be a single nine-inning game and the Mustangs' home opener.

The JV baseball team announced the cancellation of Monday's doubleheader at Westchester Community College. The Mustangs and Vikings are scheduled to play another doubleheader on Tuesday, March 12, at 12 p.m. at Silver Lake Park in West Harrison, N.Y.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 28 teams competing across nine sports. There are 19 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus as of the fall of 2017, has nine varsity and junior varsity teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
