LAKEWOOD, N.J. - With three different goal scorers, the Monroe College junior varsity men's soccer team defeated Georgian Court University on the road on Friday by a score of 3-2. The Mustangs improve to 5-2 on the season with Friday's victory.
Sergio Escribano got the scoring started for the Mustangs off an assist from
Clyford Hypolite.
Jerome Tulloch netted the second goal for Monroe after being fed by
Trymaine Cridlan.
Kashane Ashmeade then added the eventual game-winner off an assist from Damonie Adlam to help secure the victory.
Vaughn Lawrence got the start in net, and came away with the victory after allowing just two goals in the win.
The Mustangs play next on Monday, Oct. 23, when they visit Bristol Community College in Fall River, Mass. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
