NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Monroe University's women's volleyball head coach,
Nephtali Delgado Reyes, announced the team's schedule on Tuesday, making this the program's first season in the new CACC scheduling alliance.
Women's volleyball will be competing in 24 games this season, featuring fifteen away games and nine home games. The Mustangs' 2026 season kicks off at Lackawanna College on Tuesday, September 1.
Monroe will return home after facing Lackawanna for their home opener against Mercy University, which is set for Thursday, September 3, at 7:00 p.m.
Following the home opener, the Mustangs will head back on the road for a tri-match tournament at Assumption University on September 5. They will continue their road trip against St. Thomas Aquinas College (Sep. 10), the University of Bridgeport (Sep. 15), American International College (Sep. 17), Georgian Court University (Sep. 19), and West Chester University of Pennsylvania (Sep. 22). Monroe will come back home for one match against the Dominican University of New York on September 23.
Monroe will then take a trip to Massachusetts to face Bentley University on September 25.
After wrapping up September with their trip to Bentley, the Mustangs will promptly return home for three matches against Chestnut Hill College (Sep. 26), Felician University (Sep. 29), and Jefferson University (Oct. 3). They will hit the road again for one game against Post University on October 7.
After facing off against Post University, the Mustangs will come home to match up against Goldey-Beacom College on October 8. Monroe will then travel back out to face Caldwell University on October 13 and Holy Family University on October 17. They will come back home for one game to play against the University of Bridgeport on October 21.
The Mustangs will then compete in a string of away games at Wilmington University (Oct. 24), at Dominican University of New York (Oct. 27), at Pace University (Oct. 28), and at Felician University (Oct. 31).
Women's volleyball will cap off their season with two home games; they are set to play against Post University on November 4 and their final game will be played against Caldwell University on Saturday, November 7, at 1:00 p.m.
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE UNIVERSITY
The athletic program at Monroe University encompasses a total of 26 teams competing across nine sports. There are 19 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as the Monroe University marching band, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
