NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.–Eight members of the Monroe University men's Cross Country & Track program were awarded academic honors during the Fall 2025 semester as the University announced. 

Five members of the men's cross country and track team — Emilio Bishop, Boitshepo Mashilo, Yassine Rahoui, Jaheim Lawrence and Micah McHardy — earned placement on the President's List. Monroe University recognizes full-time students with exceptional academic performance on the President's List, which requires a semester GPA of 3.8 or higher.

Rashad Dixon, Cleon Joseph and Elijah Upsher were named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved GPAs between 3.6 and 3.79. 

"We are very proud of our team; these accomplishments result from their hard work and dedication" said head coach Shirvon Greene. "Their commitment towards their academic prowess equals that which they display on the course, track and field every day."
