HEAD-TO-HEAD
Each of the four teams competing in the East District Championship is familiar with the rest of the field in the tournament. Monroe has played both Harcum and Hagerstown twice each. Monroe and Harcum each won on the other's home court to split the season series. Monroe defeated Hagerstown twice back in November. The Mustangs and Allegany have only faced off once this year, with Monroe claiming an 83-71 win over the Trojans.
Harcum and Allegany went toe-to-toe twice this season. Harcum won a close matchup at Allegany in December, 64-58, before winning at home in January, 89-82, but the second matchup was later forfeited by Harcum to even the season series. Harcum and Hagerstown played just once this year, with Harcum coming out on top, 100-69.
Allegany and Hagerstown faced off once in the regular season, with the Trojans taking a narrow 71-65 win over the Hawks at Allegany. They then both reached the finals of last weekend's Region 20 Championship at Harford Community College, with Allegany claiming the Region 20 Title with an 89-66 win over Hagerstown.
