QUEENS, N.Y. - Monroe University Mustangs men's and women's soccer were named team recipients of the 2026 Region XV Sportsmanship Award on Monday by the All Sports Assigning Professionals (ASAP). This is the second straight year the soccer program has received this award.

The Sportsmanship Award is an annual award presented at the conclusion of the athletic season to one male and one female team of a member institution who exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship, character, and ethical conduct on the field/court.
 
The Sportsmanship Award is voted on by all the Region XV officials and includes all sports and teams that participate in competition throughout the entire academic-athletic season (September-May).
 
Director of Sports Information Aaron Gaberman was presented with the award by ASAP Co-Owner Brandon Cruz.
