Buffalo, NY – The Monroe University baseball team swept Erie Community College on Friday as a part of the team's doubleheader. Game one went the way of the Mustangs, 16-9, before game two ended in five innings, 12-0, in favor of Monroe.

In the opener, Monroe took a first-inning 3-0 lead thanks to a two-run home run from Garcia. Garcia then padded the lead with a sacrifice fly in the third. The floodgates then opened in the fourth and fifth innings, with the Mustangs tacking on nine runs across the two frames.
Freshmen
