SUFFERN, N.Y., December 21, 2019 – The Monroe College Mustangs JV men's basketball team dropped a road contest at nearby Rockland Community College by a score of 69-66 Saturday afternoon. The Mustangs drop to 3-7 on the year with the loss.
James Paul led the Mustangs with 18 points in the game, adding four steals.
Jerald Campbell was next with 14 points while pulling down four rebounds.
Luis Quinones and
Deandre Hayes matched with 11 points apiece.
Jedidiah Ashton did not score in the game, but provided a team-high 10 rebounds.
The Mustangs will look to rebound on Saturday, Dec. 28, when they begin a two-day weekend in Norfolk, Va., at Bryant & Stratton College's V.I.T. team. The game is set to tip off at 6 p.m.
