HARRISBURG, Pa., November 23, 2019 – The Monroe College Mustangs JV men's basketball team picked up its second road victory of the season on Saturday, defeating Harrisburg Area Community College by a score of 64-60. The Mustangs improve to 3-3 overall with the win, while Harrisburg Area falls to 1-5.
 
Erizander Laureano led the Mustangs with 18 points in the win. Jerald Campbell was next with 11 points, adding 13 rebounds for a double-double. Luis Quinones totaled 10 points and six rebounds.
 
The Mustangs will play next on Saturday, Dec. 7, when they host Army Preparatory School at the Monroe Athletic Complex. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 19 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has 12 teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
