Mehdi Guerrah put in a terrific performance in Friday's St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartan Invite to be the first member of the Mustangs men's indoor track and field team to earn his spot at the 2024 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Guerrah competed in the 500-meter dash, taking second place out of 38 finishers with a time of 1:04.37. That time converts to a time of 1:21.11 for the 600-meter run, which beats the NJCAA qualifying standard for the event.
