Paola Calderon had an outstanding week, batting .571 across eight games for the Mustangs. Monroe's shortstop totaled 13 RBIs, 10 runs, five doubles, a triple and two home runs to help the Mustangs go 5-3 for the week. Calderon had five multi-hit games, and had multiple RBIs or runs scored in 7-of-8 games. She knocked in five runs and went 2-for-3 with a home run in Game 1 against Hudson Valley. Calderon followed that up by going 4-for-4 with four RBIs and a double in Game 2. Among her great games, she finished the week with a 4-for-4, four-double, three-run effort in a Game 2 victory at D3 #2 Brookdale. Calderon ranks third in the NJCAA with eight triples.
