Kayla Johnson was a two-time podium finisher this past weekend at the 2023 NJCAA Div. I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Hobbs, N.M. After advancing through the preliminaries of both the 800-meter run and 1,500-meter run on Friday, Johnson earned her spot on the podium for each event on Saturday. She placed fifth in the 800m with a time of 2:15.48, and took seventh overall in the 1500m after clocking in at 4:53.85.
