Jonathan Vasquez

Jonathan Vasquez enters his third year at Monroe College in 2023-24, and his second season with the Monroe College men's volleyball team. Coach Vasquez is an experienced and dedicated coach with a passion for volleyball. Since the age of 18, he has been involved in coaching and has amassed an impressive track record in his career. His coaching journey began at Legacy Volleyball Club, where he started as an assistant coach before eventually becoming a head coach. Additionally, he also served as the boys' director, playing a crucial role in establishing a solid foundation for the program.

After his time at Legacy Volleyball Club, Jonathan spent five years at NYC Impact club, where he excelled as the head coach for the 15-18 age group. He also took on the role of assistant boys' director during his tenure there. As an influential figure at NYC Impact, Jonathan contributed to the growth and success of the club.

In recent years, Jonathan has been associated with the Monroe College volleyball program. He spent two seasons coaching the women's team and one season with the men's team. During his time at Monroe, Jonathan made notable contributions, guiding the women's team to two national appearances and achieving second place in the national championships with the men's team in 2023.

Aside from coaching, Jonathan also took on the responsibility of recruiting players for the men's program at Monroe College. This role further demonstrates his dedication to fostering talent and building successful teams.
