Samera Marsh joined the Monroe staff in 2010 after spending two seasons as an Assistant Coach at St. Peter's College (Jersey City). While there, she served as Video Coordinator, assisted with the development of post players, co-directed SPC's summer youth basketball camp, and was also very active in recruiting.
Coach Marsh not only brings NCAA Division I coaching experience, but also adds a much needed female perspective to the coaching staff which helps further the Mustangs' success both on and off the court. As a role model for the players, she helps build the discipline and work ethic needed to excel in college basketball. Coach Marsh is a great communicator and her ability to embrace and communicate Coach Robinson’s on and off-court values brings the kind of consistency in leadership necessary to coach winning basketball and also develop teammates who can be successful together and individually.
Coach Marsh is a former sports writer, having been published in both Everlast and Bounce Magazines, as well as made some contributions to the NY Post's Nike-sponsored summer basketball series in 2008.
A Bronx native and graduate of St. Peter's College, Coach Marsh received a B.A. in Communications.
