Brooke Kane joined the Monroe College softball staff for the 2019 season as a graduate assistant coach, specializing in pitching, after two seasons as a student-athlete with the Mustangs. Kane was with the Mustangs for three seasons, taking a medical redshirt in 2016 before going on to pitch 196.2 combined innings across the 2017 and 2018 campaigns for the Mustangs.

Kane made 39 appearances in the circle through two seasons with the Mustangs, including 30 starts. She earned 14 victories and pitched 25 complete games. Kane registered 142 strikeouts across her two years. Kane also had 59 at bats in 2018, batting .288 with 11 RBI.

Kane is a native of Shirley, N.Y. She graduated from Monroe College in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, and is currently pursuing a master's degree at Monroe.Â
