Archie Weston III

Coach Archie B. Weston III is entering his third season as an assistant coach on the Monroe Mustang staff. The Chicago native is an eight-year veteran of the coaching profession.

Coach Weston came to Monroe after a year as an assistant at Hales Franciscan High School, a Chicago powerhouse program that has produced many professional players along with three state championships.  During his tenure under head coach Gary London, Hales produced three NCAA D1 players and made it to the regional championship.

Before that, Coach Weston spent three years at Rich Central High school, where he served as the lead assistant for the varsity team. During his tenure under head coach Terrone Parham, Rich Central captured two regional championships and produced the school’s first winning season in 10 years.

He was also an assistant coach at Thornridge High School, serving as an assistant coach for one year.

Coach Weston also played the game at Mid-Continent University (NAIA D1) in Kentucky, where he was a two-year team captain and set multiple school records. That’s where he earned a bachelor's in business administration in 2007.
