Tim Kologrivov

Tim Kologrivov joined the Monroe College football coaching staff in 2020, prior to the 2021 season. Coach Kologrivov will serve as the Mustangs' special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach.

Kologrivov most recently coached at St. Lawrence University, where he was the linebackers and special teams coordinator in 2019. He had previously held the role of recruiting coordinator and defensive line coach at SLU in 2018. Kologrivov oversaw and improving special teams unit that, in 2019, scored 42 more points on special teams than the previous season, converted a pair of fake punts and blocked five kicks. In 2018, his defensive line led the Liberty League in sacks and tackles for loss.

Kologrivov began his coaching career in 2015 under Coach Tom Perkovich at Susquehanna University. He coached at Susquehanna from 2015-18. He coached the defensive line for all three seasons, and the outside linebackers in 2016. Susquehanna finished 24th in the country in 2017 in total defense. Kologrivov was responsible for recruiting in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and was responsible for recruiting an All-American running back in 2016.

Kologrivov played Division I football at University at Albany from 2010-14. He played in 47 consecutive games, starting 35 of them, and played all across the defensive line. The Great Danes won back-to-back league championships in 2011 and 2012. Kologrivov was also the team's long snapper. He led the team in sacks and tackles for loss as a senior.

Kologrivov graduated from University at Albany in 2015 with bachelor's degrees in history and sociology. He is a certified level 1 Olympic strength and conditioning coach.
