Monroe Head Football Coach Terry Karg has made his choice for offensive line coach and it's Frank Coccaro, a one-time lineman at Hofstra.  He also has extensive high school and college coaching experience.

Coach Coccaro is a great teacher of fundamentals," said Coach Karg, "and with our first-year program that's exactly what we need.  He also is a good recruiter, able to estbalish confidence in the young men that Monroe is the right place for them.  They key is, of course, that he can then back it up with unyielding support for them on and off the field."

In 2007 Coach Coccaro was at William L Dickinson High School in Jersey City, NJ.  He was at Pace University in 2008 and 2009, and in 2010 and 2011 he coached the offensive line at St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, NJ.

Coach Coccaro has traditional football values when it comes to developing players.

“I want my players to play hard, play with energy, and give obvious effort 100% of the time,” he says.

These are the same values he put to use when he was played offensive tackle and guard between 2002-2004 at Lackawanna College and between 2004-2006 when he played offensive guard and center at Hofstra University.

A resident of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, Coach Coccaro graduated from Hofstra with a BS in sociology in 2006.
