Christopher Coratti

Coach Coratti has been around the game of football for, essentially, his whole life.  The son of the Head Football Coach at Trinity Pawling School, he’s played the game since he was eight years old.  A four-year member of the Fordham Football Team as a middle linebacker, he was a High School Conference player of the year( 2007), and won eleven high School Varsity Letters in Football, Basketball and Baseball.

In his final semester at Fordham. Coach Coratti  completed an internship with the Strength & Conditioning department as well as a student volunteer coach with the defensive backs and tight ends during spring ball.  Also, he worked with the Fordham city, youth, 7 on 7, prospect, and team camps.

The defensive lin coach for the Mustangs’  inaugural season in 2012, Coach Coratti moved up a notch to defensive coordinator and as defensive backs coach.

“The Mustangs play a tough, physical defense,” he said.  “Partially because of the youthfulness of the program, we usually won’t do anything fancy, but opponents will find difficulty because our fundamental coverage and tackling is so good.  We don't necessarily  trick you, but we’re good at what we do.”

Coach Coratti believes the Mustangs should play with three I’s : Intensity, intelligence, immediacy.
