Danny Ramirez - Asst. Coach

Danny Ramirez

Raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Coach Ramirez has played and coached in New York City for 15 years. As a player at Bronx CC he was a member of the 1993 CUNY City Championship team and the 1994 Bronx team that played in the Junior College World Series. He coached and managed with the Boys Club of New York and Major League Baseballs' RBI Program for nine years, where he coached several city championship teams and worked with inner city youth of all ages. Ramirez then coached at LaSalle Academy High School from 2002 through 2005. Most recently, he was the Head Coach at the Globe Institute of Technology where he led the Knights to their first District tournament win.

In 1999, Ramirez completed the Major League Scouting Bureau's Scout Development Program in Tucson, AZ and brings to Monroe vast knowledge of the game, as well as a strong foundation in strength, conditioning, speed and agility. Coach Ramirez works with position players, particularly infielders.
