Angel is a solid lefty arm. Last season for Monroe he pitched a second team high 38 innings, in which he recorded 31 strikeouts. Angel spent this past summer playing in the competitive South Florida Collegiate League for the Florida Barons. 

This past fall Angel committed to DI University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
