Rutherford, NJ – The No. 11 Monroe University women's soccer team have completed an undefeated regular season with a 6-0 victory over Felician University JV on Monday.
The Mustangs earned perfection for the first time since 2019, doing so behind a team that averaged 4.9 goals per game and exceeded that mark in six of the ten matches. Freshman
Wiktoria Mikrut led the way with 22 goals on the year and she made her mark in the season finale.
Mikrut scored the second and fourth goal in the six-goal outing, making it her sixth consecutive multi-goal game and bringing her total on the season to eight multi-goal outings.

Victoria Ferreira stopped two shots in her first full 90 minutes of the year, clinching the fifth clean sheet of the year for Monroe.
At 9-0-1, the Mustangs will await their opponent in the East District Tournament. They will enter as the top-seed with a chance to clinch their first NJCAA National Tournament appearance since 2021.
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE UNIVERSITY
The athletic program at Monroe University encompasses a total of 26 teams competing across nine sports. There are 19 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as the Monroe University marching band, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
