After just missing on a few strong chances throughout the first half, the Mustangs finally broke through in the 39th minute.

Bruno Rosa for a score in the 72nd minute, pushing the Mustangs' lead to 3-0. Yousfi potted one just two minutes later off a short pass from
Paul Ludwig in the box to make it a four-goal advantage for Monroe at 74'.
Igor Souza got in on the action in the 81st minute after tipping in a cross from
Panashe Makokowe to make it a 5-0 lead for Monroe. Souza scored again 43 seconds later after giving a short pass from
Joao Costa a little extra push over the line to make it a six-goal affair.

Johan Rodriguez finished up the final 23:40 for Monroe, but did not face a shot in the game. Jerjer Gibson made nine saves for Lancaster Elite, but allowed all six goals.
