BROOKLYN, N.Y., December 12, 2021 – The Monroe College Mustangs JV men's basketball team shouldered an 86-67 defeat against Touro College at The Post BK Sunday afternoon. Monroe falls to 2-6 on the season with the loss.

Richie Guillaume had another big game, scoring a season-high 31 points in the game. Unfortunately, his streak of double-doubles came to an end, as he finished with nine rebounds in Sunday's contest.
Isaiah Hanley added 13 points and eight boards, as well as a team-high five steals.
Jahel Ramsey contributed five points and two steals to go with a team-best four assists.

The Mustangs will look to bounce back on Tuesday, Dec. 14, when they visit Bridgeport Prep in Bridgeport, Conn. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 35 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as the Monroe College marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has 14 teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
