BRONX, N.Y., February 3, 2019 – The Monroe College Mustangs JV men's basketball team dropped an American Independent Post Grad and Collegiate Conference (AIPGCC) contest at Our Saviour Lutheran (OSL) on Sunday by a score of 87-82. The Mustangs drop to 14-7 overall and 6-2 in AIPGCC play with the loss.
Alfredo Robles led the Mustangs with 18 points on the afternoon, adding five rebounds and two steals.
Aaron Burton picked up 13 points with six boards and three steals.

Kaynaan Longley and
Luis Quinones contributed 10 points apiece in the game.
The Mustangs play next on Thursday, Feb. 7, in a rematch against OSL at the Monroe Athletic Complex. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 27 teams competing across nine sports. There are 18 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus as of the fall of 2017, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
