BRANCHVILLE, N.J., October 13, 2018 – Due to Saturday's inclement weather causing unplayable field conditions, the Monroe Mustangs women's soccer team's game at Sussex County Community College has been canceled. No makeup date has been announced at this time.
Following a 10-0 win over Mercer County Community College on Saturday, Oct. 6, the Mustangs sit at 8-0-1 on the season, ranked No. 4 in NJCAA Division I.
The Mustangs are back in action on Thursday, Oct. 18 when they take on Essex County College at 7 p.m. in their home opener at Flowers Park in New Rochelle, N.Y.
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 28 teams competing across nine sports. There are 18 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, and the newly added club men's volleyball team, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus as of the fall of 2017, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
