The Mustangs led 10-6 in the third set before going on a six-point run to go up by 10. Another eight-point run for the Mustangs left them with match point at 24-8 before the Lions got one more back. A kill by Kyra Kaloi then put it away, giving the Mustangs a 3-0 sweep on the evening.
