The Monroe Mustangs men's soccer team got a goal at the very beginning and end of Saturday's game at CCRI in Warwick, RI for a 2-0 victory, their fifth straight win and shutout. Monroe is now 6-2 on the season.
"We talked about getting things right after the rough start we had," said Coach Marcus Dibernardo, " and it seems clear that we've done that. We are scoring goals and keeping them out of our net. When you do that, you win."
Monroe is a combined 16-0 during the win streak. Against the Knights they were fierce on the offensive end all game, shooting 25 times to CCRI's 5.
