Danielle Ballard joined the Monroe softball coaching staff in the fall of 2014 bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Mustangs. Formerly an assistant for three seasons at CUNY York College, she established pride, drive and determination amongst her players and the program each year.

Coach Ballard instructs athletes in the game of softball by running camps and clinics, as well as giving private pitching instructions in her local community.  She also served as a coach for the QN Comets Athletics, a travel, fast pitch organization with players located throughout Long Island and New York’s five boroughs. 

Ballard is a graduate of William Paterson University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training in 2010.  For three seasons, she was a pitcher on the William Paterson softball team where she posted a 7-8 record and a 2.71 ERA.  Prior to William Paterson, Ballard was a five-year varsity athlete on the Lynbrook High School softball team where she was an All-County player for five seasons.Â
