Brianna Casiano put in a strong effort in a pair of games this past weekend. She hit .500 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored. Casiano also turned in one of her strongest pitching performances of the season in Game 2 against Community College of Rhode Island, going the complete seven frames, allowing just one earned run on fives hits while striking out five batters and not allowing a walk. She hit 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored in Game 1 against CCRI on Sunday, and followed that up by going 2-for-3 with two doubles in Game 2. Casiano also tossed 1.1 scoreless frames in relief in Game 1, and finished the weekend with a 1.08 ERA.
