Quaycian Davis earned the 2024 NJCAA Div. I Outdoor 100-meter hurdles National Championship on Saturday in the final day of the 2024 NJCAA Div. I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in West Monroe, La. In Friday's preliminary round of the event, Davis ran a time of 13.75 seconds, setting a new Monroe College record while also running the fastest time of the prelims. Davis then blew that time out of the water in the finals, clocking in at 13.52 seconds to set an even faster Monroe College record and earn the NJCAA National Championship. This was Davis' second National Championship of the year, as she also won the 60-meter hurdles at the NJCAA Indoor Championships in March, setting the Monroe College record in that event as well.
