Freshman Susan Ejore stood out for the women after yet another dominant performance in the 800- and 1500-meter runs. Ejore placed second in the 800 meters with a school record breaking and National Championship qualifying time of 1:14.43. She was edged out at the finish line by NCAA leader Ce'aira Brown of Hampton University by nine-tenths of a second. Ejore came back later on in the day to win the 1500 meters, setting another record with a time of 4:40.82.
