Karim Belmahdi returned to the winner's circle on Sunday as he took the top spot in the Queensborough Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park. He outran the field of 152 competitors on Sunday with an 8K time of 27:58.6 to earn first place in the event. This is Belmahdi's third victory in two cross country season at Monroe and his second strong performance in as many meets this season so far.
