Arlinqua Russell

Arlinqua Russell entered her first year as a Graduate Assistant in April 2025. She earned her bachelor's degree in hospitality management, with a minor in Tourism Destination Management, in June 2025 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in business management, Analytics, and Information Technology.

Prior to her graduate role, Russell served as a student worker in the Athletics Department beginning in August 2023. In this position, she supported a wide range of operations, including travel coordination, statistics management, athletics compliance, live stream operations for game days, and equipment management.

During her time with the Athletics Department, she also completed two internships. She worked as a Front Desk Representative at the Holiday Inn Express in New Rochelle, where she assisted with CRM systems to manage guest records and reservations. Additionally, she served as a Culinary Arts Intern at Monroe University’s School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts.

Originally from the beautiful islands of The Bahamas, Russell brings a global perspective to her work. She is actively involved on campus as a member of the Student Activities Club (SAC) and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).

In her free time, she enjoys doing hair, shopping, and watching her favorite show, Grey’s Anatomy. She is an April Taurus, and her favorite color is purple.
