Jay Myers returned to the sidelines for the Monroe College Mustangs men's soccer team as an assistant coach for the 2023 season. Myers served as head coach for the Monroe College women's soccer program from December 2019 until stepping down from the position after the 2022 season. He was previously on staff at Monroe as an assistant coach and consultant with the men’s and women’s soccer programs prior to being named the women's head coach, and was also the International Academy Director of Coaching.
Myers had most recently served as an assistant coach for the 2019 NJCAA Div. I Men's Soccer Champion Mustangs men's soccer team, while also assisting with the operations of the women's soccer program. Myers has played a significant role in recruitment for the Mustangs women's soccer team during his time with Monroe, helping build the roster that has won two NJCAA Championships and made numerous national tournament appearances during that time. Myers will now guide the 2019 NJCAA runner-up and 2018 NJCAA Champion Mustang women's soccer program into its future.
In addition to his recent years of involvement with the Monroe College soccer programs, Myers has 20 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level, with numerous ties to the Hudson Valley region. Myers has served as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Iona College, Manhattan College and Marist College, as well as with NCAA Division II programs such as Pace University and Dominican College. Myers is also a former head coach at NCAA Division III Bard College.

At the club level, Myers is the Executive Director Of NYXFC. Prior to this, he was the technical director of Quickstrike FC. For four years, Myers was the girl's high school director of coaching at Manhattan Soccer Club, and director of goalkeeping for seven years.

Coach Myers holds a United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) Premier Diploma, Advanced Goalkeeping Diploma, USSF F license.
