Coach Sanchez brings a player’s perspective to the Mustang coaching staff and for very good reason. He was not only a superlative Mustang player for Coach ‘D’ on one of Monroe’s best-ever teams, but he went on to play in the NAIA and into the pros.
Coach Sanchez was a key defender on Monroe’s 2011 team that played into the national finals.
After graduating Monroe he played in the NAIA at Belhaven University in Mississippi for two years where he was part of a national champion in 2012-2013 and the next year were semifinalists.
He was on the Red Bulls for two years and then on club teams including Pasco, Ironbound, and the NJSA.
Coach Sanchez is a native of Guayaquil Ecuador.
