Maricela Colon. Suleski then tripled in Anderson to bring the score to 5-0.
Gabrielle Gonzalez brought in Suleski on a single, and then later came home herself on a single by
Angie Ordonez to leave Monroe up, 7-0. In the fifth, Colon brought
Amber Miltenberg home on an RBI double, giving Monroe an 8-0 lead before closing things out in the home half of the inning for a run-rule victory.

The Roadrunners fired back in the home half of the first when an Alexa Lee single, in addition to an error on the play, brought two runs home for the home team to give them a 2-1 advantage. In the bottom of the second, Lee came through for the Roadrunners again with an RBI single that gave them a 3-1 lead.
Â
Things took a big turn in the top of the fourth. Burr hit an RBI double to bring Miltenberg home to get within one.
Aisling Wilson then reached on an error. That allowed Burr to come home to tie the game. Colon later hit an RBI single to plate
Nathalie Mongrain to take the lead. Gonzalez followed with an RBI single to score Wilson for a 5-3 lead. A sacrifice fly by Ordonez made it 6-3 after Colon scored, and then Thalassinos capped off the six-run frame with an RBI single to bring Gonzalez in for a 7-3 advantage.
