New Rochelle, N.Y. - The Monroe College soccer team, currently ranked #3 in the nation, hopes to secure its fifth consecutive Region XV championship this Saturday, October 31 as it hosts archrival ASA College at 7:00p.m. in New Rochelle's City Park.
The Mustangs and Avengers met earlier in the season, on the Friday of homecoming weekend. Monroe prevailed over ASA, 1-0, in a thriller that saw

Last season, these two highly competitive sides met in this very same match-up, and Monroe forged ahead 5-0. The victory catapulted the team into the national championship game, where they finished as the second-best team in the country.
