Freshman sprinter Chris Belcher (West Sayville, NY) ran the 100m dash in a jaw-dropping 10.27, which was the fastest time of any collegian in New York State this year and his own personal best. Belcher had run 10.33 in the prelims on Friday and was .06 faster a day later, a remarkable feat. He also anchored Monroe's men's 4x100m relay that ran a season-best 40:50 and finished seventh. The other runners were Tikuan Johnson, Walter Penate, and Brian Sappleton.
