Sarah Wall put in an incredible effort for the Mustangs at the Region 10 Championship in South Carolina. She started all 4 games for the Mustangs in the tournament, tossing 24 total innings, including all 20 that the Mustangs played in elimination games on Friday. Wall accumulated a 1.46 ERA with a 2-1 record in those four starts, with opposing batters hitting just .163 against her. She struck out 32 batters in those 24 innings. Wall tossed a one-hitter against Spartanburg Methodist College in Monroe's first elimination game, striking out 12 batters in a complete-game shutout. She then allowed just two hits with 11 strikeouts in a complete-game victory over USC Sumter to keep the Mustangs going in the tournament. Wall was selected to the Region 10 Championship All-Tournament Team for her incredible performance throughout the weekend in South Carolina.
