Carlos Peguero tossed a seven-inning no-hitter in a Region 20 Championship elimination game to keep the Mustangs alive in the tournament on Saturday. Peguero went all seven frames in a 9-0 run-rule victory over Hagerstown Community College without allowing a single hit to earn the win and the first no-hitter since Jason Diaz threw a seven-inning no-no on April 1, 2021, against ASA College. Peguero struck out 10 batters while yielding just two walks in his best effort of an outstanding season.
