Carlos Peguero continued his terrific run to start the season on Saturday, nearly tossing a no-hitter in an 8-1 victory over Lackawanna College. Peguero had not allowed a hit through six innings before the Falcons finally snuck in a single with one out in the seventh and final frame. Peguero went the complete seven innings in the win, allowing no earned runs on just one hit with a season-high 12 strikeouts. Peguero has allowed just one earned run and eight hits through 23.1 innings so far this season for an outstanding 0.39 ERA and an opponents' batting average of .100.
