Keith Warren Jr. was named the 2023 East District Championship Tournament MVP after a terrific performance in this past weekend's East District Championship tournament at the Monroe Athletic Complex. Warren scored 12 points in Friday's semifinal win over Hagerstown Community College, but then played a big role in a second-half championship comeback for the Mustangs in Saturday's final against Allegany College of Maryland. He made five three-pointers and scored a team-high 20 points in the championship victory to help Monroe erase a nine-point halftime deficit.
