Shaquka Tyrell continued an impressive debut season this past Friday on Day 1 of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Open at The Armory. Tyrell earned qualification for the 2023 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 600-meter run by running a time of 1:37.72 in the event at Friday's meet. This was Tyrell's second NJCAA qualification, as she previously qualified for the 800-meter run as well.
